At Canaan City Christian Academy, we believe in hands-on learning that helps our students apply knowledge in real-life situations. As part of our Home Economics and Life Skills program, our students recently participated in an exciting Food Preparation Practical, where they showcased creativity, teamwork, and responsibility.

Under the guidance of their teachers, learners worked in groups to prepare a variety of simple, nutritious meals. They measured ingredients, practiced good hygiene, followed cooking procedures, and learned the importance of working safely and neatly in the kitchen. The activity was not only educational but also enjoyable, as the students proudly presented their dishes and shared them with classmates and staff.

This practical lesson helped build confidence, sharpened their culinary skills, and reinforced key life skills such as cooperation, time management, and problem-solving. At Canaan City Christian Academy, we remain committed to providing experiences that develop the whole child academically, socially, and practically.

We are proud of our learners for their enthusiasm and effort, and we look forward to more engaging practical activities that equip them for life beyond the classroom.
