At Canaan City Christian Academy, creativity is an essential part of our teaching and learning experience. As part of our Creative Arts and Life Skills program, our students recently took part in an inspiring Handmade Crafts Practical, where they designed and produced beautiful items such as handbags, wallets, posters, decorations, and more.
Guided by their teachers, learners explored different materials, techniques, and artistic skills. They cut, shaped, stitched, glued, and designed their projects with great care and imagination. The activity encouraged them to think creatively, work with their hands, and transform simple materials into impressive artworks.
The practical session helped students develop important skills such as innovation, patience, teamwork, problem-solving, and fine motor coordination. It also boosted their confidence as they proudly presented their finished crafts to classmates and staff.
